Halal Rewards - Referral Partner Terms

Last Updated: August 27, 2026

These Referral Partner Terms govern participation in the Halal Rewards Referral Partner Programme — the scheme under which we pay a one-off £25 for introducing a halal business that becomes and remains a paying Halal Rewards customer. By applying to the Programme at referrals.halalrewards.co.uk, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. THE REFERRAL PARTNER PROGRAMME

The Referral Partner Programme is operated by Halal Rewards Ltd. It pays approved Partners a one-off £25 for each Qualifying Referral — a halal business introduced by the Partner that signs up to a paid Halal Rewards plan and remains a paying customer for 60 consecutive days.

  • Participation is free — there is no fee to apply or take part
  • Payments are one-off per business, not a recurring commission or revenue share
  • There is no cap on the number of businesses a Partner may refer
  • There is no minimum follower count, no content quota, and no exclusivity requirement

2. DEFINITIONS

  • Programme: The Halal Rewards Referral Partner Programme described in these terms
  • Partner/You: A person or organisation approved by us to take part in the Programme
  • Referral: A halal business introduced to Halal Rewards by a Partner
  • Qualifying Referral: A Referral that meets all of the conditions in section 4
  • Referral Link/Code: The tracked link and short code issued to a Partner on approval
  • Partner Dashboard: The Partner's account area at referrals.halalrewards.co.uk
  • Halal Rewards/We/Us: Halal Rewards Ltd and its operators

3. JOINING THE PROGRAMME

3.1 Application and Approval

  • You must apply at referrals.halalrewards.co.uk and be approved before referring anyone
  • Approval is at our sole discretion, and we may decline an application without giving a reason
  • On approval you are issued a Referral Link and Code — tracking only exists from that point, so referrals made before approval cannot be attributed to you

3.2 Your Status

You take part in the Programme as an independent party. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, joint-venture or partnership relationship between you and Halal Rewards, and you have no authority to make commitments on our behalf.

4. QUALIFYING REFERRALS

4.1 Conditions

A Referral becomes a Qualifying Referral only when all of the following are met:

  • The business meets our halal criteria and is accepted onto the platform
  • The business signs up through your Referral Link or Code, or is matched to your account under section 4.3
  • The business was not already in discussions with us, and has not previously been a Halal Rewards customer
  • The business remains a paying subscriber for 60 consecutive days from sign-up — a business that cancels within those 60 days does not qualify

4.2 One Payment Per Business

Each business can generate one referral payment, ever, regardless of how many locations it operates, which plan it chooses, or whether it later leaves and re-joins. Where more than one Partner claims the same business, the referral is attributed to the tracked link or code the business actually used, and otherwise to the earliest verifiable introduction shown in our records.

4.3 Manual Attribution

If a business you introduced signs up without using your Referral Link or Code — for example after a phone call or an in-person introduction — you may contact us and we will, acting reasonably, match the referral to your account by hand where we can verify the introduction.

4.4 Our Records

Attribution and qualification are determined from our tracking systems and records. Each referral is reviewed by us once it clears 60 days, before payment is arranged. We will consider genuine attribution disputes in good faith, but our determination is final.

5. PAYMENTS

5.1 Amount and Timing

  • We pay £25 for each Qualifying Referral
  • Payment is made within 30 days of the Referral qualifying (that is, passing the 60-day mark and completing our review)
  • Payment is made by a method agreed with you when we contact you to arrange it

5.2 Tax

Referral payments are made gross. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on payments you receive under the Programme, and for your own status with HMRC. Halal Rewards does not deduct tax or National Insurance and does not provide tax advice.

5.3 Withholding

We may withhold a payment where we reasonably suspect that a Referral breaches these terms — including the conduct and fraud rules in sections 6 and 7 — pending investigation. Payments confirmed as arising from a breach are forfeit.

6. PARTNER CONDUCT

When promoting Halal Rewards you must:

  • NOT send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, on any channel
  • NOT make false or misleading claims about Halal Rewards, its pricing, its features, or the results a business can expect
  • NOT present yourself as an employee, agent or representative of Halal Rewards
  • Comply with all applicable law, including UK advertising rules — where you promote your Referral Link or Code on social media, disclosures required by the CAP Code (such as marking content as an ad where applicable) are your responsibility
  • Only use marketing materials and claims consistent with what Halal Rewards publishes on halalrewards.co.uk

7. FRAUD AND EXCLUSIONS

The following are excluded from the Programme and are treated as a breach of these terms:

  • Self-referrals — referring your own business, or a business you own, control, or hold a financial interest in
  • Referring fake, ineligible, or non-operating businesses
  • Procuring sign-ups through misrepresentation, pressure, or payment of the referred business
  • Manipulating tracking, links, codes, or sign-up data in any way

Breach of this section or section 6 entitles us to withhold and cancel any unpaid referral payments and to remove you from the Programme immediately.

8. CHANGES, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

  • We may amend these terms, or change, suspend, or close the Programme, at any time. The current version of these terms is always published on this page, and continued participation after a change means you accept it
  • Referrals that have already qualified before the Programme closes or your participation ends will still be paid under section 5, except where forfeited for breach
  • Referrals still inside their 60-day period when the Programme closes will be honoured if they go on to qualify
  • You may stop participating at any time; we may end your participation at any time on notice to you
  • If your participation is ended for breach of sections 6 or 7, unpaid amounts are forfeit

9. LIABILITY AND DATA

9.1 Liability

The Programme, the Partner Dashboard, and referral tracking are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Programme is limited to the referral payments properly due to you under these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9.2 Your Data

Personal data you provide when applying and taking part — such as your name, contact details, and payment details — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
