Bookings · £9.99 / month add-on
Take bookings where your customers already are
Your regulars already have Halal Rewards on their phone for stamps and points. Bookings turns that into a reservation channel — commission-free, no per-cover fees, and every request lands in front of a human before anything is promised.
£9.99/mo on top of your plan. No contract. Cancel anytime.

How it works
From tap to table, in four steps
Nothing about this is automatic where it matters. The software does the arithmetic; your team makes the decision.
- 1 search
They pick a time that really exists
The app only offers slots your location is actually open for, on the day, in your local time — and only if there are enough seats left for the whole party.
- 2 pending_actions
The request arrives as pending
Every booking starts pending. Nothing is held, promised or confirmed until one of your team looks at it.
- 3 notifications_active
Your staff get a push straight away
A new booking notifies staff at that business the moment it lands. It is treated as operational, so quiet hours never hold it back.
- 4 task_alt
A human confirms it
Confirm from the dashboard or the staff app, then complete it, cancel it or mark a no-show. The customer is notified on every change.
The maths
A cheaper add-on beats a second subscription
Standalone reservation platforms charge £25–£59 a month as your only tool. Bookings is £9.99 on top of your plan, and it comes with the loyalty platform, customer app and staff app you are already running.
| Platform | Typical cost | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Tablein | from about £25 / month | Booking software only |
| SimpleERB | £49 / month | Booking software only |
| Seatly | £59 / month | Booking software only |
| ResDiary | Quote only | Booking software only |
| OpenTable | Quote only | Marketplace — per-cover fees apply |
| Halal Rewards Bookings | £9.99 / month add-on | Bookings + stamp cards, points, discovery and the two apps |
Commission-free: we take nothing per cover. Per-cover fees come from marketplace operators — a different business model to ours.
Under the bonnet
The details that stop a double-booking
Most of this is invisible when it works. It is very visible when it does not.
Counted in covers, not bookings
Party size (1–20) is summed against the seats you have, per slot and per day. Four twos and one four are not the same as five bookings, and the app will not offer a slot that cannot seat the whole party.
Each site keeps its own diary
Availability is counted per location. A busy Friday at one site never shows the other one as full.
No-shows and cancellations free the table
Mark a no-show and those seats go straight back into the pool for the rest of the service. Cancelled bookings do the same, immediately.
Weekly templates plus date overrides
Set your normal slots once, then override single dates. An override made without picking a location applies business-wide — close every site for Eid in one action.
Opening hours and BST aware
Slots are filtered against each location’s operating hours for that weekday, and times are handled in the location’s own timezone, so the clocks changing does not quietly shift your service.
Your notes stay yours
The customer’s request and your staff notes are separate. Typing “regular, hates the door table” on confirm never overwrites what they wrote, and they never see it.
Both sides of the counter
One app for the guest, one for your team
Customers book from the Halal Rewards app they already have. Staff see the request, the party size, the customer’s note and the status in the staff app — and confirm without leaving the floor.

Questions
Before you ask
Do bookings confirm themselves automatically? add
No. Every booking arrives as pending and stays there until a member of your team confirms it, from the dashboard or the staff app. Automatic confirmation was deliberately removed from the product — nothing gets promised to a customer without a human seeing it first.
Do you charge a fee per cover? add
No. Bookings is £9.99 a month on top of your plan, whether you take four covers that month or four hundred. There are no per-cover or per-booking fees — those come from marketplace operators, and we are not one.
What happens when someone does not turn up? add
Staff mark the booking as a no-show and the seats are released back into availability for the rest of the day. Cancellations — by you or by the customer in the app — release capacity the same way.
Can a customer cancel their own booking? add
Yes, from the app. When they do, staff at that business are notified, so a cancellation reaches the venue instead of sitting unseen in a diary.
We have more than one site. Does that work? add
Yes. Slots, overrides and capacity are all counted per location, and a business-wide closure still blocks every location at once.
Is it only for restaurant tables? add
No. Bookings covers restaurant reservations, venue hire, weddings and general enquiries, and a booking can be linked to one of your featured services.
Do I have to sign a contract? add
No contract. Bookings is a £9.99 monthly add-on to a Starter or Growth plan and you can cancel any time.
